The Field of Battle

Warlord Guyver

Unknown Planet

The smell, it intoxicates me. Emanating from the millions of dead already slain in psychotic bliss. The smell is of blood, of bone, of feces. It maddens you. Makes you see all as enemy, as that wishing your death.

Two men stand side by side. On closer inspection we see they are Mark II Guyvers. One is a human host, the other a Yovkisher.

“Damnit, why in all the universe am I stationed in the one place these show up?” the human says hiding behind a rock with his teammate.

“Because the Republic needs you,” the Yovkisher says. Suddenly their hyper senses twitch and a thud is head behind them.

Both whip around in battle stance to see a beast! It is large bodied with clawed fingers and toes. Crystals are imbedded into its forehead and chest with a large powerful jaw. It reminds the human of a demonic gorilla.

It grabs the human by the arm and tosses him aside. The Yovkisher fires a Gravity Ball that never pierces the creature’s armor as he turns to grab the warrior by his arm.

He lifts the Yovkisher to his face and growls, his saliva and bloodied mouth drooling over the warrior. With a flick of his wrist, the creature rips the warriors arm from the socket and lets him drop to the ground. He lifts the tattered arm to his face and examines it like a child would a pebble, then opens his jaw almost 2 foot wide and swallows the arm whole.

“GRRAH” is the noise heard from him as he smashes the head of the warrior with his foot and points his arm crystal towards the human and fires. A red wave of energy stems from his arm and crushes the human guyver under its intense power.

Similar sites are witnessed across the globe. In the northern hemisphere a Germag is held in the creatures jaw as he continues to attack three other Mark II Guyvers with his claws. Slowly the saliva acts as an acid and begins to digest the Germags midsection before the beast bites down, swallowing his stomach, lungs and liver and the two halves fall to the ground.

Two of the creatures grab a Yovkisher and together pull him apart.

One fires a large beam from his mouth into two Yovkisher warriors and destroys them.

Large Palace on the Planet

Two Mark II Assassins speak to each other.

“Has the signal been sent to the Borckile?” one says.

The other nods. “Yes, but we received no answer”.

“This is not good. These things are tearing us apart, and there are millions of them all over the planet. Who’s troops are they” the first says again.

“We don’t know. But we do know they are actually eating our troops. Maybe they are enhanced Azathoth” the second Guyver says.

The first shakes his head. “Azathoth must be constantly looked after, meaning there would be Jy-taki or Orobouras or at least a single creator here. We detect no creator presence in this solar system”.

“They seem to have that same need to feed” the second says again.

“Yes” a voice says from out of the sky. Both Guyver turn around and scan with their hyper senses, nothing. “My creations seem to have a very healthy appetite”.

A shimmer from down the hall is seen as a cloaked figure steps forward. Slowly the being uncloaks to reveal large wings and massive size, Anubis.

The two guyvers attack, but are stopped not a foot from their original position, frozen in the air as they are swung back into the wall, creating an impression as well as cracking their spinal columns. They feel a furious crushing under Anubis attack. Their armor buckles and crushes into pieces and begins to detach from their body. Anubis has begun to use his gravity orb to force the armor off of their bodies.

Both guyvers scream as the bio armor is torn from them, leaving only a control medal in their forehead. Skin where the armor has attached has been torn away as well as holes in their abdomen and chest plates. Organism seeps from their body.

“This is my world now” Anubis says. His eyes glow as a space rift is created inside of the warriors’ bodies making a literal pocket of hyperspace before exploding outward in a shower of blood and organs.

A blast field explodes behind Anubis and Malice appears. “Anubis, the attack was a success”.

Anubis deactivates his unit in a powerful explosion that knocks out a 100-foot radius, however Malice is unaffected. He stands in the center floating. He turns, flinging his long red hair with him. “Excellent. The Lycanlords are a success then. Have whatever warriors are left stripped of their armor and converted along with the 2 billion civilians into Lycanlords. Any Zoaforms are to be put to death. This is my world now, so shall we cleanse it”.

The Accolade

Deus stands next to Necro W’Kar and Ninja Guyver in her normal form.

Albass, Balcus and Shendal stand off to the side beside a computer.

“Deus is a far more advanced form of W’Kar. I would say he’s the most advanced unit I’ve ever seen. If it wasn’t for the fact W’Kar has the element inside of him, Deus here would be one of the most advanced creatures in the universe” Balcus says. “And his human form is equally impressive. It contains hints of both Zoaform and Guyver DNA. Not as further advanced as Anubis but contains powerful composition nonetheless”.

Shendal nods in agreement. “After Necro W’Kars unit, Grend was able to create units with equal if not more advanced nature than that of W’Kar. W’Kars Element is the source of his tremendous power, where as these reproductions get theirs from the technology inside of them. In truth, the reproductions are of higher-grade technology than W’Kars unit. If one of these were to be merged with an element they would surely surpass W’Kar by a great deal”.

“What about mine” Ninja Guyver asks?

“Your and my original units are the prototype. They are not as advanced as W’Kars. The source of ours is the same as theirs” Shendal says.

“So in truth we surpassed W’Kar in technology” Necro W’Kar says. He is weaker than Deus, Deus is much stronger. He knows because they battled in a test and Deus won without really trying.

“From what we know in the republic all the reproductions up to number 5 were tests. Malices unit was the final result of Grends research. He planned to merge that with a W’Kar Element and bond with it. Deus, you are of equal strength to Malice. Different abilities, but same bio level” Albass says.

Deus nods. Everything has gone haywire for him. He is now leader of Zeus Thunderbolt and is in charge of the same missions as Agito once pursued.

Necro W’Kar remains on the ship most of the time. He is the main defense against large enemies.

Warrior Ninja has been working on freeing planets from creator grasp. They have the W’Kar doing all sorts of jobs that would take an army to do otherwise.

            The W’Kar leave with Balcus.

“Albass, I am leaving” Shendal says.

“What? You can’t be serious. At this moment we need your help more than any other. With Anubis out there planning only god knows what, and the creators learning our bases locations, we need everyone” Albass says.

Shendal nods. “I know you do. But I have something I must do and can’t be distracted whilst doing it”.

            Shendal turns and walks away.

Space, near the Unknown Planet

Dark Unit II and Guyver 4 II are both on their way to investigate. The Borckile received an odd message from the outpost planet saying they were under attack by beasts. Knowing this could be a creator trick, the hierarchy decided to send a team to investigate. And guess whom they picked?

“Were getting close,” Dark Unit II says. He looks down at the planet. It was supposed to be a green planet, full of plant life and things of the such. He sees nothing but black and darkened water.

“Is this the right planet?” Guyver 4 II asks.

“They said the fifth planet. This is the fifth planet,” Dark Unit II says. “Let’s take a closer look”.

They both begin to fly towards the planet when their senses jerk and 10 large beastoid creatures come flying in from all sides and fire beams at them simultaneously.

Temple on the Surface

Philip wakes up and grabs his head. “OOH”. He looks around and spots Sean on the ground unconscious still. The ground is covered in water, about 3 inches deep and black. He can’t see the walls either. He stands up and looks around. Snake like creatures swim around his feet. He walks over to Sean and pulls a pair off of him and flips him over.

Sean’s face is covered in black ooze. He yanks and pulls it off waking Sean to a scream.

He stops his scream and looks up at Philip who has begun to realize the ground underneath them is stone.

“What’s going on?” Sean asks, being helped up by Philip.

Philip shrugs his shoulders. “I don’t know”.

“Last thing I remember we were jump rushed by those big beasts” Sean says.

“Same here” Philip says. “We need to find out what’s going on and where we are. This place is so damn dark, we should hold on to each other so we don’t separate”.

Sean nods and they hold hands as both walk in a common direction. They begin to notice the smell. It’s revolting.

“Geez, what died in here?” Sean asks pinching his nose.

Philip stops walking and stares. “That”.

Sean gives a confused grunt and looks in the same direction.

A chain is wrapped around his arms as the lower part of his body dangles. The head is removed and lying near the side, where it has neatly been sliced and the brain removed. A gigantic cut runs from the removed heads previous resting place, to the crotch area where the body has been removed of organs. The sides are held open by large hooks and a bungee like cord which pulls the body together so tight, that the rib cage has split and the shoulder blades now touch in the back.

The body reeks in decay and is covered in black soot, along with maggot like creatures roaming in the open areas and feasting on the dead flesh.

            “What is this” Philip says.

Sean, showing bravery, bends down to the head. “It was a human”.

Philip grabs his shoulder and moves on. They find the wall and begin to follow alongside of it. Another body.

This one is a Yovkisher. Their skin is naturally a faint bluish white, but this one is a bright red. His body is punctured with hundreds of tiny, 1-inch spines. The face has been split from the forehead, diagonally to the right. The skin is pulled away and fastened to his shoulder by use of stitches. The brain is covered in flies and their eggs. His body has also been grafted to the wall by use of intense heat. The eyes have been removed and all the holes in his face have been burned close.

“Jesus god” Sean screams at the sight.

“Neither exists. I am sure of that now,” Philip says as they skip the body and travel on.

Both continue to try and call their armor, but to no avail. On more of the bodies they notice that they too are guyvers by the growth on the back of their necks. Somehow, they were guyvers and tortured to death without help from their unit. Can a unit heal you if you never call it, or if you die without it?

Either way, these poor souls will never find that answer out.

They step across a door. It is massive, over 40 foot wide and 20 foot tall. On each door an engraving is etched.

Sean stares at it for a moment and recognizes it. “Isn’t that an Ankh? You know, that symbol Cassandra wears around her neck”.

“Sort of. The Ankh is simpler than that. Just two bars and a loop on top. This one is shaped odd,” Philip says staring at it. Ankh, it was the Egyptian symbol of life according to Cassandra. Egyptian!

“Oh shit, I just realized it” Philip says.

            “What” Sean asks?

“The Ankh is Egyptian. Who do you know that carries an Egyptian gods name?”

“Anubis” Sean says under his breath.

“Precisely” they hear a voice say.

The Main Chamber

Philip and Sean wake together once again. But this time they cannot move. They are suspended in the air from small line that has been looped in their skin.

            They both scream in pain.

“I so do love that sound, please continue” the voice says again.

Sean and Philip stop, pulling the pain into the back of their minds. They look around and make out the room. Below them a half circular room lies with the same symbol strewn across the marble ground in a black color with a blue center. The floor is a mixture of yellow and white. The walls are draped in a large red cloth with large marble shafts. Behind the wall is the same, but with a large black entrance. The ceiling is draped in the red cloth as well.

Before them resides a large throne. It is covered in a blue and red cloak. Its sides are decorated in marble and gold, with a design of the same symbol.

In the throne sits a large man with an odd red and black armor, the cape swung around his shoulders. His red and flowing hair falls past his knees.

            “Anubis!” Sean says with emotion.

Anubis smiles. “You are correct. I am Anubis”.

“So, this is your doing. I should have guessed, only a fucking schizoid like you could do these things,” Philip screams!

“So I see you have begun to admire my handiwork. It’s a skill, well, more like a craft you could say. Pain and fear intertwined to create the perfect horror. The voluptuous pleasure which is this carnage. Only a genius can dream it, and only a god can create it,” Anubis says smiling to himself.

Philip looks at him raise his arms to the sky. “Welcome to the first planet of my order, the Order of Anubis”. He lowers his arms and stands up from his throne dragging the large cape one thought to be attached to the throne with him. Upon closer inspection they see most of it to be his hair, over 20 feet long and dragging behind him.

“I now rule the dark empire. I am the lord of this universe, the bringer of pain and suffering for which this universe cannot begin to imagine. Hell was but a word, a whispered thought before now. I have composed 5 layers of it, each more terrifying than the last. You have witnessed the first. It is the layer that only scrapes the surface of what is to come for you. You have only felt an abrasion, later you shall feel the knife”.

Anubis walks underneath them. They are suspended four foot from the ground, giving the demon straight vision of their knees. “You two are not from this universe. It’s beginning to dwell on your mind is it not”?

Sean has begun to seethe in anger. “What is that”?

“You should have stayed home. Remained in Greg’s brothers’ universe. At least there you could have slept at night instead of writhing in pain as you will here,” Anubis says in his godly tone. His unarmored voice even gives a hint of his demonic nature and godly demeanor.

“Fuck you. I came here to help protect my friends, do you have even one person you can call a friend you ugly fucking gargoyle!” Sean screams in anger, the loops in his back tear more at his skin.

Anubis laughs at his comments. “Anger can be a powerful weapon, if you can control it. Let’s see how well you can”. Philip and Sean are both begin to be pulled towards Anubis. He himself has turned and began to walk towards the blackness of the room. He steps through.

Both of them look up, the wires holding them weightless are not attached to the ceiling, but to a bar above them. Anubis has been using his powers to hold them in the air as marionettes.

The two soon follow in behind. They peel through the darkness and emerge in a steel chamber. It opens into a hallway shimmering in gray steel. The sidewalls have glass that is moving along the hallway in fixed lengths from each other. As they float just behind Anubis they look in the windows.

A large room with a circular bubble in the center, suspended by gravity. On each wall and ceiling and floor is a large spike. Inside the bubble is a young female who can obviously see them, screaming for help, but giving up at the sight of their own fate. Tears flow from her as she covers her naked form in the bubble. Suddenly a large whirl and the spikes from each side fire at blinding speeds at the center bubble and tear her to pieces in a flash. Her head has a large 3 inch spike through it as it is stapled to the far left wall, her upper body the same on the ceiling and other pieces. Blood flows freely inside the bubbles zero gravity chambers.

A man is cramped inside a metal suit that has attached itself by melting itself onto his skin. Large magnets float around him, yanking at the metal, pulling piece by piece off of him along with large portions of his muscle tissue and uncovering his bones.

“HOW CAN YOU DO SUCH THINGS” Philip erupts.

Both stop floating forward and Anubis turns. “With pleasure. Each person you see here are failed conversions. The beasts you were attacked by are my troops, the Lycanlords. Fortunate effects of the failed subjects being converted to Lycanlords are that they survive. Failed conversions are exterminated as they are useless to me”.

Philip and Sean both scream curses. But an unknown force forces their mouths close. “I so do prefer silence, unless it is a scream of pain. Unless you plan to do that I would much prefer you remain quiet of your adolescent chants”.

They continue to float behind Anubis, seeing other torture methods he has devised. None are spared: men women and children, the young and the old, the different races.

They come to a large door inscribed with the ankh like symbol. “As you have probably already guessed, I have adopted this symbol”. The door slides open and we are introduced to a dank smelling room.

Anubis lifts slightly to the air and floats above the water. A second later a spotlight is shined in the center showing a hanging figure.

Philip and Sean drop into the water, which is stained red and reeks of waste. They stand to their feet and drag the large bar that is grafted to their back behind them as they walk towards Anubis and the hanging body.

Looking at her they recognize her, Cassandra.

“You fucking bastard” Sean screams and jumps towards Anubis. He freezes in the air and is flung to the ground.

Cassandra is hung by the ceiling. In the bottom part of her jaw a large hook is locked on. Piercing the lower neck and coming out of the mouth, a piece of tongue hanging on the tip, this is the only thing keeping her up. She is nude, and seems to have large claw marks on her as well as spines piercing through her hands, feet and breasts.

“JESUS FUCKING CHRIST” Philip says. He grabs her feet and tries to help get her off of it but is swung back as well by Anubis.

“She’s a very resilient one. I suspect the unit has some form of link to her even through hyperspace. She cannot activate it in here, yet somehow all these wounds will be closed by an hour, aside from where the skin can’t work around the blades. I find myself trying all sorts of new tricks on her,” Anubis says floating to her face. Her eyes are open and she sees him. Surprisingly she never screams or moans.

“You decide” Anubis says. She is lowered to the ground and Anubis uses his power to pull the hook from her mouth. She spits blood from her mouth and coughs.

“Decide what” she struggles to say. Her voice is barely audible, and hardly understandable.

“Which one, of them” Anubis says smiling a grin only a devil such as him could.

Cassandra shakes her head and grabs around her neck at the ankh necklace. “I cannot decide that, you know that. And I know you, you cannot force me no matter what you do”. Her voice is better, maybe somehow she can heal.

Anubis chuckles to himself. “You do not know me foolish woman. You have yet to accept that Greg is dead. But nonetheless you are correct, I cannot force you to do anything you don’t want to. Not even a god can change a will unless that is of his own”.

“You should kill her,” a female voice says. Philip looks to the dark in the direction of the sound to see a female float in. Like Anubis she has long red hair past her knees, but unlike his free flowing hair it is tied back. Her clothes are completely black and partially transparent. She has on her arms golden gloves. A young girl, possibly only 16 or 17.

“Ira, listen to your mother, leave now” Cassandra says.

Anubis furies. “Alexandria is my daughter”! Suddenly hundreds of small metallic objects fly in from all directions and begin to insert themselves into Cassandra’s back, forming Anubis’ Ankh. She screams in pain as each tears into her flesh, blood flowing back into the water around her.

Alexandra smiles. “Woman you are not my mother. I have only one parent” she says and grabs onto Anubis arm.

“You are wrong” Cassandra says. Chains grow from the ground and knock her down, binding her to the ground, in the filthy bug infested water, leaving only her face above to breath.

“As you wish woman. It’s a delight to see you suffer, she that caused the original host so much grief and pain. I know all Greg did, his knowledge passed to me, as did his will to see you dead,” Anubis says.

“Liar” Cassandra says spitting water from her mouth.

More of the small projectiles come and pull through her lips, sealing her mouth shut. Her chest begins to bleed as her rib cage splits in the middle, exposing her organs to the dirty water. Her heart is seen beating and her lungs coughing as the water seeps into them and crimson blood pours across her.

“And for you two” Anubis says turning to Philip and Sean. Both lift in the air. “Which Alexandria”?

Alexandria floats above the water and over to them. She rubs her hand across Sean’s chest. “Him”.

Anubis smiles. Alexandria floats back to his side as Sean begins to scream in agony. Philip looks at his friend, whose throat has ripped in half and his head falls back.

“YOU SON OF A BITCH” Philip screams before he feels a massive shock and sees black.

Philip shakes off the headache. “Uh, what now” he says to himself looking around. As usual the room is completely dark and cold, but something seems different now. The atmosphere is much thicker. He breathes deeply and coughs hard into his hand. Philip stares at the blood on his hand, poison.

“That sick bastard” he says looking around. He begins to walk slowly, holding his arm out as far forward as possible, the other behind him in the same manner. He searches drastically for something to touch, and eventually finds it. He begins slowly tracing the perimeter of the wall, groping against it in search of something different aside from the simply cold wet stone. The wetness is not water, oil or simple dew, but new blood yet to dry.

The stench of decay stiffens with every step, and the air becomes staler. Eventually he feels around a corner and into a corridor. Philip slowly thrusts his right arm out to his opposite and finds a wall, proving to him that this is a passage.

Philip walks down the hall screaming in his mind for his guyver unit, but it never responds. The organism on his back is gone, it seems Anubis removed his unit. Completely human and in hell, but this is simply the first layer, what Anubis said was nothing but a tease. If this is the first layer of Anubis hell, where people are dissected for pleasure, given horrible deaths and their skin torn from their bodies as he views with some sort of morbid ecstasy, than Philip can only imagine what the other four are like.

And that psycho has Sean. Philip shudders at the thought of what Anubis is doing to him, what Anubis has planned for him? What did he have Alexandria choose for? The thought of it is purely horrible to the tenth power.

Elsewhere in the Temple

Anubis stands in his human form staring at a device set in the middle of the room. He stares across the room and pulls the unconscious Sean towards him. “This will be very amusing”.

Alexandria and Oberon stand on the opposite side of the room looking on. Anubis pulls Sean to the center of the room where three orbs surround him, each with a small needle pointing towards the center of the room and a large crystal orb above him.

“One of the most interesting new effects of my new evolution is this” Anubis says touching Sean on the shoulder. Sean’s back begins to thump as his spinal cord shoots downward and thrusts down into the ground, and the upper part extends towards the ceiling. “I have the ability to craft the organic to whatever vision I can muster”.

“Useful tactic, a clever mind could have a lot of fun with that” Oberon says.

“Mine is the cleverest” Anubis says. He smiles slyly as a blast field explodes around him and his armor activates revealing Anubis in his armored form. The surrounding temple remains unscathed from the blast field. “I believe it’s about time we began this”.

Anubis steps up to Sean, his face equal to his now. “Wake up”.

Sean begins to roll his head side to side on an axis before making a grunting noise and looking up to see the face of the red dragon. He jerks back in pain as he looks down to see himself impaled to the ground.

“Vlad Dracul, also known as Vlad the impaler. He was one of the kings of what is now known as Romania. Famous for his cruelty, mainly his front lawn, which according to legend was decorated in impaled bodies. This fact was never proven, but one that was is that on the battlefield Vlad and his troops would impale and leave their enemies to rot. Years later even during your life Vlad was considered a hero by his own people, now I do something similar. I will torture people, and they will love me for it” Anubis says, his voice a light growl in cybernetic tone. “Of course I couldn’t care less about the people, love is a temporary thing, as is hate. You hate me, I know, and I relish in your hatred and fear, it feeds my starved soul craving the delicacy of destruction.

“Soon your view will change, you will love me as those foolish humans did Vlad. You will love me as the Christians love Jesus, for I am the only god that you will ever know!”

Sean opens his mouth, crimson liquid pouring from the orifice. “Over my dead body” he says with pain in his eyes.

Anubis laughs silently. “You are correct my new general”. Anubis reaches his hand towards Sean’s face and waves his glowing fingernails in his face. As they pass in front of him a faint glow follows that begins to shape into the symbol of the Anti Advent Republic. “Say goodbye to your old way of thinking”

Anubis points his finger and touches Sean on his forehead. The finger glows hot and begins to sear in heat. Sean screams in agony as Anubis pushes it through his skull and into his brain, instantly killing him.

“As they live, so shall they die,” Alexandria says.

Anubis smiles underneath his armor. “Oberon, did you get that which I requested?”

“Yes” Oberon says reaching behind him; he pulls out a vial of red liquid. “Lycanlord blood”.

Anubis eyes light and the vial leaves Oberon’s hand and floats towards the now deceased Sean. It is poured over his body and drops to the ground. Anubis eyes light brighter again as beams of light glare from them and strike the blood around his body, small incisions are made and the blood soaks into his body, leaving stains on his skin where the blood once touched.

Anubis control medal lights as he points his hand outward and fires a shower of lightning that strikes the orbs surrounding the area. They form a triangle of energy, and eventually radiate different colors before the needles on them fires at Sean, striking him and begin to electrocute his body.

The upper crystal glows and begins to fall back down towards the shower and enters inside of it, glowing as it explodes into dust around him in a bright light show.

A pale being stands where the light spectacle dies. He is cuddled back in a fetal position, his hands pulled in to his chest. He shudders for a moment, and then he stands up. His black shoulder length hair drooping over his neck, and an odd tattoo on his right brow. His features are very fair and beautiful. An upward turned nose. Skinny, but well-defined lips. Eyes are piercing with not a wrinkle or sign of aging on his bleached white skin. His body is thin and tiny, much like a small boy.

“My Baphomet” Anubis says floating upwards to him. “You are well”?

“Yes my lord, I am” Baphomet says.

“You feel no ill-effects from the transformation I presume”?

“No my lord, I do not” Baphomet says, blandly and without emotion.

“What do you remember from your past my Baphomet” Anubis asks?

“There was nothing my lord, you are everything” Baphomet says in blind compassion.

Anubis nods. “Your duty, you understand it?”

“I am to lead the Lycanlords as their General and surpass your every expectation my lord, for you are all I know,” he says, blinking for a short moment.

Within the Catacombs

Philip slips and falls to the ground. He still remains crawling across the walls, hoping not to fall into anything that could harm him, or find something he wishes not to find. Already he has stumbled on countless bodies, each left to rot. Most of the people here died fairly sudden, some were tortured though. He prays for each, even though there is no god it seems the proper thing to do, even for the Yovkisher.

His hands are bleeding. He has slid them across jagged rock for hours now, slicing and scraping them into a bloody mess. His eyes are utterly useless now, they can’t adjust to any light that could possibly exist in this place.

But then there is a glow off in the distance, a slight orange one that he stands up and feels himself drawn to by his feet. Each step takes a year, and each year is a lifetime. But when he finally reaches it his eyes can now make out the things around him.

“We are the Kregen,” a voice says.

Philip jerks his head side to side. “Who is there”?

“We are amongst the nebula, speak to us there”.

“We have seen your plight Philip, it is not a pleasant one”.

“Seems we have something in common” Philip says, still looking amongst the nebula to attempt to see them.

“Indeed. But we do not wish this to occur just yet, The W’Kar must be restored to his former glory” the Kregen say.

“His former glory is gone,” Philip says. “Anubis is the one that is now running the show”.

“Nonetheless you do wish to escape this tragic wasteland”.

            Philip nods.

Suddenly he sees an object float towards him. As he looks he notices that it’s a blue guyver unit!

“What unit is this” Philip asks grasping it.

“W’Kar Reproduction Model 2, we are in possession of this one and its predecessor,” The Kregen say. “But we have other plans for the Model 1”.

“A W’Kar Unit! If I use this I may just be able to escape,” Philip says.

“It is yours now, use it with care, for this model has temporal powers. The W’Kar cannot slow you with his temporal powers, or those near you with this unit. But be careful, unlike the W’Kar, the Reproductions do have a limit on energy reserves. Use it with care” The Kregen say.

Philip nods and activates the unit, it bursts out and straps on to him. He screams in pain as it bores into him, filling his body with organism. This is much more painful than a guyver unit, far more. His body surges with power as the armor settles and he stands tall, shining blue. His eyes quickly shine, as he is now aware of all his surroundings.

His blue head is unlike that he has ever seen. His control medal is of standard size, but he has an extra orb just below his chestplates he knows nothing of. He notices he lacks any hyper sensory orbs, but his hyper senses are working fine. Actually much better than he is used to. He feels his body surge with energy, his very cells charging with power.

“I must get Sean before I leave” he says. His hyper senses scan the area, but find nothing. But he does spot Anubis, who has also detected him.

“Shit” he says as a blast field explodes around him and he disappears.

Outside the Temple

The W’Kar appears from his blast field and scans the area, nothing yet. Then there are two explosions around him as Malice steps out of teleport followed by Anubis, who is carrying a naked man with him.

“Philip” Anubis snickers. “How have you obtained that Unit!”?

“I gave a ring to some good hyperspace buddies of mine” he says. “Call me Temporal W’Kar”.

Anubis cocks his head to the side. “The Kregen, you will pay for this injustice”.

“Where is Sean you sick fuck” Philip screams pointing at Anubis.

Anubis floats back, leaving Baphomet. “Right here Temporal W’Kar”.

Temporal W’Kar looks at the man in front of him; his scans tell him indeed they have almost identical DNA! “What has he done to you Sean”?

“I am Baphomet, lord and general of the Lycanlord Army, part of the Order of Anubis” Baphomet says lightly.

“My Baphomet, show this weak W’Kar Reproduction how I operate” Anubis says.

“Yes my lord, it is your order” Baphomet says. He stares down Temporal W’Kar. Suddenly his begins to form shift as his body grows in size and he is now sprouting small claws from his feet and hands. Two horns shoot from his head and his jaw breaks open revealing four rows of sharp teeth.

Baphomet sprouts hair from his face and his body is covered in crystals. His natural armor is gray and his underneath seems to be muscle tissue dyed a dark pink. He snaps his jaw open and shut as he speaks the words, “For my lord”.

Temporal W’Kar extends his plasma blades. “Sean, come on man, don’t do this”.

“It will not work, he was brain dead before we converted him. He has no memory of past events,” Anubis says.

“This will be a good test for the new General” Malice says.

“Damnit” Temporal W’Kar says staring at the advanced beast in front of him. His control medal glows along with his other orbs as he runs forward at high speed and slices at Baphomet. Baphomet jerks to the side a dodges, creating an energy blade from his crystal on his palm and begins to block Temporal W’Kars blades.

Temporal W’Kar fires his head laser, Baphomet dodges and holds both of his hands toward him and fires a Bio Wave that Temporal W’Kar creates a shield to and blocks.

Temporal W’Kar blends to his environment and slides to the side. Baphomet fires multiple plasma bullets that barely miss him each time. He uppercuts Baphomet in the gut and the blade punctures through him and out his back. Baphomet grabs the base of Temporal W’Kars neck and rams his fingers through it. The flesh is torn back and his windpipe destroyed. Temporal W’Kar pulls back his fist and flip kicks Baphomet in the face with his heel blade.

Baphomets bottom face is split, but pulls itself together as pulls his arms back and begins to rapidly fire bullet attacks at Temporal W’Kar who quickly runs in a circle to avoid the weapons. To much of his surprise the bullets continue to follow him in the circle.

Baphomet smiles and pulls his hands back, the bullets reverse course and slam into Temporal W’Kar, knocking him multiple times back 400 foot and into the ground head first.

Baphomet teleports in front of him. The top portion of Temporals Head is split off, his brain seeping from its place. But he stands up, quickly struck by Baphomets bio wave. Temporal W’Kar blocks and moves his hands upward, the orb below his chestplates glows and he pulls time inward.

Baphomet is slowed; he is seen moving at a small pace. Temporal W’Kar extends the field and kicks Baphomet in the head, sending him slowly flying outward and towards a mountain range. Temporal W’Kar walks up and strikes him again in the back and repeats the process until he roundhouse kicks him into the mountain.

The Temporal field dilutes and Temporal W’Kar shakes his head from energy loss, but he has already begun to drain the energy around him. Baphomet stands, his body cracked and worn from multiple strikes.

Baphomet makes a fist, light seeping from the cracks of his fingers as he opens it towards Temporal W’Kar. The blast hits him in the upper arm and slices the arm off. Temporal W’Kar cries aloud and moves back. The beam still emanating from his hand, Baphomet swings it like a bat at him. Temporal W’Kar side flips over the beam and lands back on the ground, ducking just to miss the passing beam again. Baphomet swings it back and Temporal W’Kar extends his plasma blades and slices at the beam, chopping it apart in a surprise move.

Baphomets lips stir around his sharp teeth. He then charges and throws his claws out. Temporal W’Kar pulls himself back just in time to miss a swipe of hiss claws, but not enough to miss the gravity ball he fired at the same time that knocks him into the mountain.

Baphomet jumps on top of him and begins to claw at Temporal W’Kar. Temporal W’Kar activates his gravity orb and buries himself down into the mountain, but Baphomet rips the rock aside and follows deep into the earth. Temporal W’Kar is almost fully charges before he reaches a stalagmite cave. He falls back and crushes the rock point he crashes on with his thick armor and body weight.

Baphomet lands on him and tears into him with his feet. Temporal W’Kar fires a Pressure Cannon and blasts the beast into the cave wall in a heap of rock and burnt flesh. Temporal W’Kar uses his temporal powers to run circles around Baphomet, stabbing him multiple times before he loses the field to conserve energy.

Baphomet spats blood. His wounds begin to heal but he shakes his head in a daze. He touches the blue stonewall as his reflection shines all over the cavern.

“Sean, listen, Anubis is controlling you” Temporal W’Kar says pulling his blades back.

“My lord is all” Baphomet says. He stands again in defiance and fires a beam from his head crystal. Temporal W’Kar dodges to the side as the beam hits a large crystal and refracts in multiple directions, hitting both of the warriors through their chests and blasting the walls down on top of them. Baphomet and Temporal burst out and begin slashing at each other again, their wounds healing in peace at the stalemate.

Temporal teleports away leaving a blast field to hit Baphomet. Baphomet raises shield and blocks simply to have another slam him from behind and a Pressure Cannon shot through his back. Baphomet turns and fires his hand beams, Temporal W’Kar blocks with shielding and uses his temporal field to slam up against him at high speed. He then goes to light speed and bashes Baphomet through the ground. He again pushes at light speed and presses him down against the rock making an earthquake around him as the fire from his speed is shot up through the ground.

Baphomet teleports to the surface, fifty foot above ground, and cups his hands toward the quake. Suddenly shock waves are pushed forward and begin to rattle Temporal W’Kar, shattering his eyes and ears. Then Baphomet screams high and a force wave is fired that hits Temporal W’Kar and blasts him deep into the ground.

Baphomet breathes heavy as his wounds begin to heal. A blast field explodes beside him and Temporal W’Kar steps out and fires multiple head laser bursts. Baphomet swoops down and dodges just to get punched in the face and a knee plasma blade stabbed through his crotch.

Baphomet screams as Temporal W’Kar glows in a bright blue light. A temporal field surrounds him as blue fire engulfs his body. He begins to attack Baphomet at blinding speed and bashes and punches and kicks and stabs him at high velocity.

The field wears down as both combatants lay on the ground. Temporal W’Kar drained of energy, Baphomet damaged beyond recognition.

Anubis and Malice close in and look at the two warriors.

“Glorious, splendid, a most interesting bout. Baphomet, you are a good warrior. Some improvements are to be made in certain areas but in all you are the true leader of the Lycanlords” Anubis says. He nods at Malice who drops down and lifts Baphomet on his shoulder.

“What of the W’Kar” Malice asks pointing at him.

“Take him as well, no point in killing him yet, he’s far too entertaining” Anubis says.

The Borckile

Zass sits in his office going over some engagement reports. The humans seem to be a good addition to the AAR. The Germags and the Yovkisher were the only two races that really showed a good compatibility with the Unit-G.  The humans are just as good, if not improved in some area. His race was never able to really master the strength area of the Unit, but they excelled in gravity and healing. The Germags were muscle to begin with, so they naturally were great hosts for the Units, but their ability to handle bio energy weapons was poor. After one Mega Smash the Germags are weakened more than any other race.

The humans are almost ideal. Their healing is not as good as the Yovkisher, their strength not as good as the Germag. The weaknesses that the two main races have are almost non-existent in the humans. They can use full Mega Smashers 3-4 times until weak, their strength is much higher than the Yovkisher.

But the humans have a history of war and deceit. The Germag are war like as well, but they control their urges and become gentlemen through contest. The Yovkisher are peaceful. A Yovkisher cannot lie, it is forbidden by sacred law. The Germag have low psychic protection, their thoughts can even be read through a guyver unit by a good psychic.

But the humans have no such loyalty or restrain.

Albass has assured him that the humans may be primitive cultured sometimes, but as long as the creators that destroyed their planet exist, they will fight to the last man standing. A valorous, but foolish response.

He stands up and hears a beeping. He turns to a jet of water that shoots from his ceiling to the floor. It lights up and shows a figure, Lei Po. She is the Head Mistress of the Lilis. She was once a slave for the creators, but now with the help of a Mark II Unit has escaped their grasp and is a member of the Hierarchy.

“Lei Po, what do I owe this honor” Zass says flattering her. They were once good friends, but not, just friends.

“Zass Tallas, it’s not like a Yovkisher to be so polite to a female,” Lei Po says grinning.

Zass smiles. “Yovkisher have no females, it’s not our custom to treat them as equals. But in most cases we make an exception”.

“Well us Lilis have no males, therefore it is not our custom to treat them as equals”.

“Touché, to quote the humans” Zass says.

Lei Po loses her grin. “Ironic you should bring that up, it is that I wish to speak of”.

Zass tilts his head. “Are their trouble between the races”?

Lei Po shakes her head. “No, they are being especially nice to us, especially the males. Humans are ruled by the simple need to reproduce, biologics seem to be fairly strong in them”.

“Not as strong as the Core though. Heard about Lola’s little episode with three other of his kind,” Zass says smirking.

Lei Po blushes a bit. “Lola seems to be quite the ladies man, or in their case man and ladies man. I always found it odd their needed the seed of both 1 other male and female of their race, and both sexes could carry a child”.

“They always found it odd we laid eggs” Zass says again with his slight smile. “But what is wrong”.

“The humans are led by Albass. She is a good leader, and a good person, but I think she’s placing her personal needs above the Republic far too much. I could understand if she needed to go and do something personal, but lately…” Lei Po quits her speaking and stares blindly at Zass.

He nods. “Q’Gongi said the same, and I agree a bit as well. And you know how H feels about her”.

Lei Po shakes her head. “That Germag, until she came he was considered the strongest in the hierarchy. Ridiculous bastard should accept his position”.

“All Germags are stubborn, seems only right they’d choose the worse to lead them” Zass says massaging his blue head. “Well the Anubis incident has raised a lot of eyebrows. But I still remain confident she is a good leader for her people. And the humans are doing quite well as a race. They’ve grown into the fourth largest race in the Republic”.

“And mine remains the last. The Lilis have never had a very good position amongst you” Lei Po says sternly.

“The Law says the majority cast the larger vote, you have only 50,000 Lilis left, not a high ballot. I’ve promised to back you up but spreading yourself too thin like this is what’s keeping you” Zass says.

Lei Po nods. “We can only have two children, and most of us decide not to have them on account of the way the universe is now”.

Zass grabs his back and grips himself tight.

“Your back hurting you” Lei Po asks?

Zass nods. “Thinking of just having it sliced off and I’ll grow a new one, this time without the unit, may take longer but it tends to work better when done like that”.

“Tell ya what hun” Lei Po says placing her hands on the side of her face and her elbows on the table. “The Chill-de-Rush should be coming in contact with the Borckile in the week. How about you hold off that procedure and allow me to do some of my special treatment to it, we Lilis were made slaves for a reason,” she says with a seductive smile before the image disappears, leaving only falling water once again.

“Sometimes I wonder if they hate being slaves, or love it” Zass says walking away and towards his aqua room.

Anubis Palace

Temporal W’Kar lies breathing deep in a chamber with Anubis in his human form, and Malice to the side of him. His energy reserves do not charge quickly. It’s been almost thirty minutes and his energy is only ¾ up.

“I think he’s had enough rest,” Anubis says dropping to the ground. He walks up to Temporal, the torches around them room all light at once in a deep red flame and illuminate the room in an eerie red glow.

“It’s hard to keep a W’Kar captive, our units tend to adapt to any situation. Mine much better and quicker than yours, but nonetheless yours will. So I will keep you until I kill you. Until then you will be my entertainment” Anubis says.

Temporal W’Kar strikes out in a punch, but Anubis grabs his arm with both hands and twists it until Temporal is forced to the ground.

“You have never battled me before Philip, and if I can do this in my human form, imagine what my W’Kar form is capable of” Anubis says before dropping his arm.

“They captured you once, we can do it again” Temporal W’Kar says standing up.

Anubis smirks one side of his mouth. “I was weak then. See it takes awhile for the human host to obtain the elements full power, I was probably at most a third of my power then”.

“You are only one person Anubis, how do you expect to win against both the Anti Advent Republic and the Creator Empire,” the blue W’Kar says gaining his position once again.

“Easy”, Anubis says with much confidence turning his back to him. “I have created my Lycanlords as you know, the creators are a stubborn breed, plus they don’t know of me yet. I gain my forces and strike first, directly at the heart of the creator empire. I will destroy their home planet. The AAR will be much easier, for you have little resources. After that my reign will crawl through dimension through dimension. A never ending wave of absolute chaos”.

“And you expect everyone to just go on and say OK” Temporal W’Kar jokes.

“Hardly, humans are weakened by their thirst for freedom. You take a small bit away and they will strike. The trick is to be stronger,” Anubis says pulling the hair from behind his head to the front of his shoulder.

Temporal W’Kar jerks back in shock. “In case you haven’t noticed Anubis, you’re human”.

“I was, but now I am much more” Anubis says turning to his prey. “To compare me to a human is similar to comparing you to an amoeba. Clearly humans are more evolved. Humans have the ability to control amoebas, to give them life and death as they please, for they are gods over them. Well I am a god over humans, you’ve just dropped a spot in the food chain”.

“Two, my kind is above theirs as well,” Malice says.

“So now the pecking order is in place” Anubis says. “Come to me, my Baphomet!”

Suddenly a dark swirl occurs between the two red braziers, the mist turns to a form as someone emerges.

The face is easily recognizable as Baphomets Lycanlord form, but he now wears a long dark cloak and two pins of the Anubis Ankh and a large collar that goes even above his own head.

“Baphomet has been improved a bit. Along with his healed body I have upgraded his form with some of my own designs, I hope you enjoy this game” Anubis says stepping away to Malices side.

Baphomet’s cloak pulls back to reveal his body, he seems the same. Temporal W’Kar brandishes his plasma swords and attacks first, quickly he is blasted back by a barrier shield emission. Baphomet draws his hands to his front and fires two bolts of lightning. Temporal raises shields around his hands and pushes the lightning blasts aside as he dodges. The electrical weapons destroy the wall and Temporal jumps out and begins flying towards the surface, Baphomet in pursuit, Anubis and Malice right behind.

Temporal comes to the surface and engages his temporal field to dash forward at incredible speed, but is then stopped in his tracks by Anubis in his armored form. He slams into him and falls off of his shielding.

Temporal opens his left Mega Smasher and fires the weapon at Anubis, who opens his hand towards the blast and pulls it in. The blast is almost completely absorbed, except for the little that bounced easily off Anubis armor.

Anubis holds in his hand a blue ball of highly charged protons. He fires it at Temporal, Temporal tries to dodge and raise a shield, but the blast strikes him for too quickly and blasts his right shoulder off.

Temporals blast field explodes around him, but he remains.

“Ha, trying to leave the battle so soon. Don’t you think my mastery of the atomic allows me to destroy hyperspace?” Anubis says stepping over to his body. He reaches down and stabs his forward blade deep into Temporal W’Kars chest, and the spacial distortions tear even deeper into him as he lifts him upwards.

Temporal sees the temple behind Anubis; it’s a pyramid looking building with a spike on each corner. An orb is situated above each spike.

Temporal W’Kar looks down at Anubis. His body slightly glows in a reddish color as his wings stretch out. The veins in them glow as his body drains energy quickly.

“You will die now, I cannot remove your unit. Unfortunate considering its abilities” he says. A tear forms behind Temporal as a thousand bands shoot out and grapple Temporal W’Kar, forcing him away from Anubis and drawing him into it.

“KREGEN” Anubis screams in bloody anger. He begins to fire his head laser multiple times into the tear.

Space, above the planet

Temporal falls out of a blue glow.

“We are sorry, we were damaged by Anubis, this is as far as we could get you,” the Kregen say before their tear disappears.

Two blast fields explode around him as Anubis and Malice step out, followed shortly by the dark teleport of Baphomet.

            “You won’t escape” Anubis says.

Three other blast fields explode around Temporal as Necro W’Kar, Warrior Ninja and Deus make the scene.

“Damn Philip, didn’t expect you to end up a W’Kar” Warrior Ninja says looking down at him.

“Well a million weird things tend to happen in this world,” Temporal W’Kar says.

Warrior Ninja looks over to Anubis. “You son of a bitch! Bout time I got to see you again. And seems you’ve started a group of lackeys as well”.

Deus looks over to Malice and Anubis. “Oberon, I never thought…Ah well. So this is what Greg turned out to be. Just when I thought I finally had the strength to stop him from tearing out my throat and beating my skull in this happens”.

“Malice, this is Sho I presume” Anubis says staring at him.

Malice nods as he crosses his arms. “Yes”.

“So all the current W’Kar are here, how good. Much easier to destroy them all now and save the trouble from hunting them down later” Anubis says most excitingly.

“Yeah right mother fucker” Necro W’Kar says. He points his hands out and fires two hyper cannon bursts at Anubis. Anubis never moves as the beams slide easily over his shield, leaving red streaks as they pass over it.

“Malice, Baphomet, see to them. I have something I must do” Anubis says teleporting away.

Malice jerks his head to the side and cracks his knuckles. “Should we begin Baphomet”?

“As the lord commands shall I obey” Baphomet says nodding.

Deus extends his plasma blades. Temporal W’Kar and the others do shortly after. Warrior Ninja forms dual hand held Plasma Swords and spins them around in her hands.

Baphomet throws his cloak off reveling his disturbing body and emits three laser blades from each arm facing in an elbow position.

“Baphomet is Sean” Temporal W’Kar says. “He’s gone, no saving him now”.

The other W’Kar nod and begin to attack. Deus and Temporal go after Malice as Warrior Ninja and Necro W’Kar hit Baphomet.

Malice charges and releases his blast-sphere. The weapon blasts both Deus and Temporal back. He waves his arms back and forth and fires lightning around shocking them both with billions of gigawatts of electricity. Temporal forms his field around them and Deus attacks in it, hitting Malice across the face with his fist and then fires a bio energy pulse across his armor severely damaging it. Deus’ face bleeds in unison and armor begins to pulsate.

Temporal, shocked at this immediately releases the field thinking that something went wrong. Now not effected, Malice extends his plasma swords and chops off Deus’ arm and cuts his throat. He pulls in his blast-sphere and channels it into his arm and punches Deus through the chest.

Temporal fires his Mega Smasher as this occurs and catchs Malice off guard. He is hit by the onrush of energy and almost instantly torched to a crisp as his shielding tries to rise up. Temporal W’Kar closes his chest plates to see a highly scarred Malice, whose body is barely recognizable as a W’Kar, but as Temporal looks at Deus, he notices the same thing, but his mega smasher never touched him.

“What the hell is going on?” Temporal yells in confusion.

Necro W’Kar is hit in the leg with a laser blast as Warrior Ninja kicks Baphomet in the knee and chops both his arms off with her plasma blades. Then she spin kicks him in the side of the chest.

“Move” Necro W’Kar screams at Warrior Ninja, she does as ordered. Necro W’Kar pulls back his hands and screams the word, “HYPER CANNON” as the beam erupts from his hands and strikes Baphomet. Baphomet screams as his body is ripped in half and he is sent whirling into space, his lower body absorbed by the hyper cannon. The energy returns to Necro W’Kar and he absorbs it.

“Serves ya right” Warrior Ninja says. She flies up to Necro W’Kar, “How’d ya fire those cannons at Anubis without deactivating”.

“Well I’ve noticed how Deus uses the cannons, and tried the same thing. I just lowered my energy output a bit and it worked” Necro W’Kar says. “I must excel at something”.

Suddenly all of their heads jerk as Baphomet and Malice teleport away, they begin to feel a massive gravity force. Their hyper senses focus on a single point near the planet.

Anubis holds his hand above his head and his wings spread to the heavens. His control medal is glowing bright, burning the outside color spectrum as space begins to peel around him.

“Don’t tell me he’s gonna blow up the planet with a big Pressure Cannon” Necro W’Kar says as Temporal W’Kar and Deus come next to him, Deus is almost healed completely.

“I don’t know what he’s doing, but he’s not aiming at us” Deus says optimistically.

Suddenly the W’Kar feel drawn in as the gravity increases.

The planet begins to shake suddenly as it slowly moves towards Anubis. He begins floating backwards, pulling the planet with him!

“NO FUCKING WAY” Necro W’Kar screams. “He’s yanking the planet out of orbit”.
