Guyver0: Rebirth

Warlord Guyver

Somewhere on Earth

Two sniffs. The air is stale and dusty. The ground feels like mud. A man, about 30, sits by three more of his kind. He is touching the ground with his finger, a ground he cannot see. The place he is in is foggy, but fog is supposed to be wet.

He looks around, twenty, twenty of his family stuck in this green dry cave. The walls feel like dead skin, dry and lifeless, yet they make clanging noise when hit.

Suddenly a light appears and three beings step forward. One is a large figure, blue in color, about 2 people high. He has glowing round things around him, and a large oval one in his forehead.

He speaks to the other two. They are both smaller, man-sized creatures. Figures that appear beast like.

“Bring him,” the large glowing one says pointing towards the man. The two beasts walk forward. The man stands up, followed by three other men.

The four men attack the creatures, with hand and foot, teeth and fist. But humans have no born weapons, these creatures have claws, they have horns. They win, killing the other three men who attacked.

Dragging the bleeding man the three creatures carry him into a room. The man, half dead by blood loss, looks around the room. Glowing white objects are in the walls, a voice in his head.

“Human subject 44092161, to be subjected to Bio Booster Armor for test run” one of the objects says, but this voice was not in the air, it was in his head.

One of the beasts lifts the man up towards one of the orbs, suddenly a disc shaped object is seen from in the darkness. It glows a white light and then a group a slimy tentacles fire forward, wrapping him in them

The beast lets go and steps back.

            A scream.

The vile creature is attacking the man. Tentacles wrapping around him, crawling into every crevice, every crack of his body, attacking him like it has a vendetta. Flowing down his mouth, encircling his lungs, pure agony.

            A choking sob.

The man is crying, a proud man attacked by an unknown creature.

Suddenly through the pain, he sees a light heading towards him, it sets hold on his forehead.

            Another sharp pain.

The light drills into his head, ripping bone out and absorbing it at the same time. Another set of tentacles wraps his mind, crushing it in a force unknown to any.

            A scream.

            Then Silence.

He awakes to a chamber, no lights, but he sees perfectly. Everywhere he sees, in front, behind, to the side, even through the darkness he sees.

He smells, he smells a disgusting odor of decay. The floor has been ripped and the wall torn apart.

He feels, he feels the slime around his body, but it feels like it has always been there. He feels his arms, his legs, and his face. Different, he feels like rotten flesh, he feels like the walls.

His face, it is no longer his. A spike extending from his forehead and a round object in his head. He touches it, cold, the object is cold. But his body is completely warm; the air is no longer stale.

Suddenly another light, it appears behind him. The man jumps, startled at first, but continues through it. He looks around.

A large floor, foggy but bright. He sees the same objects, those glowing orbs, all around him. They appear as eyes, watching every move.

He sees a creature, a yellow creature like the blue one before. This one is different though, much more impressive in stance and power. He hears a voice once again, “Alkanphal”.

That is the creatures’ name, Alkanphal.

Suddenly a jerking on the side of his head, he sees something behind him and turns. A massive beast, over one hundred times his size, a massive jaw the size of him. It lunges forward with its mouth.

The man jumps backwards; he notes he is faster, much faster. He wonders, am I stronger?

He catches the ground with his foot stopping and dashing forward ramming his foot into the creatures’ foot.

It screams in pain and a massive object comes forward and hits the man, the beasts tail.

He is low on breath and against the wall. His chest is broken, but then he feels nothing, the pain goes away. He looks at his arms, blades. They would be useful against this Titan the man thinks.

Suddenly blades on both his arms extend out. He rushes forward and cuts the beast across the chest and up pounds it in his massive jaw. Then he looks into the creatures’ eye.

A green face looks back. Lifeless, cold and uncaring. It has a glowing orb in the center of its head.

            He finishes the beast off.

“Incredible, the Bio Booster Armor did much more than we expected to even a normal human. Imagine the potential for a Zoanoid, or even a Zoalord” another voice says inside his head. “Deactivate the armor”.

He stands, motionless, his chest stirring.

“Deactivate the armor,” it says again.

He opens his chest. A blinding white-hot light fire blowing an entire section of the wall away. He sees light, the sun. A burning light from the heavens that lights his people’s way. He jumps, and is lifted by some unknown force, making him fly out.

“The Bio Boosted Human is not responding to commands,” the voice says. The man has decided this voice is not his own mind, but it is something that is an enemy. “Send the Zoanoids to capture it, you lead them Alkanphal”.

The man sets down, he looks around to see the same beasts coming towards him. He quickly extends the swords and dives towards them, slicing them open with incredible ease. A light launches from his head, slicing the beasts in line.

            Over 40, all dead.

Corpses stain him, all around him.

“Use the remover Alkanphal,” the voice says.

The yellow creature returns, this time with a device on his arm.

“Remove the unit,” the voice says. His chest stirs again, and he fires the same beam.

The yellow creature is captured in the same hot white mass, it even burns the man, and the heat is incredible. But somehow, he heals it all.

            But the creature remains!

It laughs. Standing, mocking what the man is.

He lifts the device and it splits open before firing a beam towards the man.

            Again pain

This time it is just as agonizing.

            Maybe even worse.

The drilling comes back as the circle is pulled from his head, stripping the skin he had with it, that incredible green skin.

            Suddenly a green orb.

“Kill the Guyver,” the creature says before looking directly at him.

            White-hot pain.

            Burning.
